A word from Father Albert Felice-Pace:
In this issue we are exploring what does it mean to be a Dominican campus ministry? Throughout the first semester we had a number of reflections during Praise and Worship on the four pillars of Dominican life. Our four pillars are given to us by our founder, St. Dominic. The way St. Dominic lived was a model of how he wanted his followers to live. He lived in community. Within this community, the members of the community came together to pray and study. Fortified by pray and study, they were able to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is our mission of offer our students faith formation so that when they graduate and join a parish, they will be well equipped with theological knowledge. This fall semester we are launching a new program called ESTEEM. Eight students will gather together to study and be formed as future leaders of the faith community. Study is one of our pillars. Please keep this program in your prayers.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank every person who supports our ministry and those who are supporting our capital campaign. May god bless you for your generosity.
