Who is St. Thomas aquinas?
Our building is named after St. Thomas Aquinas, a Dominican priest from 1225-1274.
Not only was he a Dominican friar but one of the greatest theologians and doctors of the Catholic Church!
His most famous writing for the church included the great Summa Theologica, the Compendium Theologiae, and much more.
He is a great example for our collegiate students to grow in their knowledge of the Catholic faith at UNLV and discover the truth behind the Church’s history and doctrines.
